3D hand gestures control is using a built-in cameras to track the user’s gestures in real time and transmits the information to a computer running software that interprets the gestures for operation control. The system is completely contactless and requires no special markers – it responds as soon as hand move in front of the display. It can identify the movements of your hands – the hand gestures. This makes it possible to identify the actions and perform a certain command accordingly.
The advantage of the system is in areas where contact between the user and the device is not desirable, such as in an factory, truck, big vehicle, operating theater, or surgical operation room where a surgeon can manipulate scans of the operating subject without compromising sterility – or getting blood all over everything.

For this case, the normal user interface freezes when the device is picked up and moved. With customization design it may also include some form of error control system to avoid accidental activation and used for the wireless connectivity.
